USMC M4 has a PEQ-16 And that's about it. Some units have an Aimpoint instead of ACOG. That's really about it tho. Same as its been the last decade

Jul 6, 2009 · Any M16 bayonet will fit the M4. Your problem is that your barrel is most likely 16" long and as such is not designed to fit a bayonet. The real M4 has a 14.5" barrel and the distance between the bayo lug and muzzle is the same on the M16A2 and the M4.....yours is longer.

Oct 19, 2010 · Is there any noticeable accuracy differences in a 14.5" Socom profile barrel and a regular 16" standard m4 profile barrel? I am thinking I would like to try a 14.5" barrel with perm'ed muzzle device but only if the socom profile would offer some possible gains in accuracy. If it matters, the two barrels I am comparing are chromelined colts.

Apr 21, 2009 · The original AR TDP is out there, the A2 is out there, and unfortunatly for Colt, the M4 TDP was distributed by the US govt. by "accident" to several other manufacturers (FN and a few others I think). Finding the TDPs can be difficult and they are not just handed out to people who want to manufacture AR's.
